Technical Details:
The objective of this study is to identify the potential effects of the increasingly diversified and changing natural gas compositions on the integrity of the gas distribution network.
This would be accomplished by 'manufacturing' test gases and testing them against materials of interest. Once the materials that are affected by the varying gas compositions are identified, those infrastructure components that contain these materials would be analyzed.
In essence, this study provides an initial assessment of the response of infrastructure to certain gas variations.
