Technical Details:
NY City Local Law 30 (LL30) requires an outside shutoff valve on low pressure services that do not have them. This project investigated alternate methods of achieving the shutoff as opposed to a standard installation of a curb valve. The most feasible method of shutoff was determined to be the installation of a one-piece shutoff valve and service tee through small hole (keyhold) openings.
